1. Every Fall, without fail, I get an intense urge to go to Paris. Yup — just sell my worldly possessions, buy a one-way ticket, and live in the City of Light.
Since I don’t plan on doing that (yet), I should probably just head to Chocolatine French Café in Thousand Oaks for a crêpe and café au lait, take a chill pill, and pretend I’m sitting at a sidewalk cafe.

2. To us, Fall also means mountains. Needless to say, there was some serious wanderlust jealousy happening after we saw Hayley’s gorg photos from her recent trip to the Sequoias!

4. One of my favorite parts of the holidays is the opportunity to make festive cocktails! I especially love these two holiday beverages that are perfect for your Thanksgiving (or Fakesgiving) events!
Or put together your own Mulling Spice Bags using our handy tutorial — makes for a great gift or favor, and is AMAZING in mulled wine or spiced cider!
5. We love supporting local entrepreneurs, and since the holiday season is coming up, there are tons of opportunities to purchase gifts from small business owners!
The Handmade Pop Up is going on this weekend (November 4-6), which is an online collective of artists and vendors both near and far — so you don’t even have to get out of your pajamas to shop!
We especially love Thousand Oaks native (and Santa Barbara resident) EmmieBean Custom Portraits, which will be featured in this online pop up shop, as well.
Also, find some adorable signs and hand-lettered decor at the Show The Joy porch sale in Moorpark this Saturday!
I’m LOVING that hilarious “No Soliciting” sign! Except I want girl scout cookies sold to me, sooo….
