Okay, sorry about that ridiculous title — I do love some alliteration…!
Fall means all things PUMPKIN (and of course a few other things from our fall bucket list, am i right??). Sure, it’s cheaper to grab one from outside your favorite grocery store, but going to a pumpkin patch brings around a whole new level of nostalgia. Here are some of our favorites that are going on in the 805!
Calabasas Pumpkin Festival [Oct 20 + 21] :: Fun fact: calabazas means “pumpkins” en español, so naturally, they host a pumpkin festival each year! $5 entrance fee gets you into this festival of live music, reptile/wildlife shows, inflatable slides, carnival games, and more! [Juan Bautista de Anza Park, Calabasas]
20th Annual Underwood Family Farms Fall Harvest Festival [Sept 30-Oct 31] :: Themed events are held each weekend, and this is a great place to take kids for the day! Word to the wise: avoid weekends if you can, as entrance fees + crowds increase! Buy tickets here, and check the website for a $5 off coupon! [3370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark]
McGrath Street Pumpkin Patch :: Free admission + pumpkin sculpting, along with hay rides and plenty of pumpkins! [yes, it’s a thing] [5156 McGrath St, Ventura]
McGrath Brothers Great Pacific Pumpkins :: Hay rides, farm animals, and hay mazes, oh my! [5100 Olivas Park Dr., Ventura]
Big Wave Dave’s Pumpkin Patch :: You might be coming back here in a couple of months, as this is typically a Christmas tree lot — but hey, one good holiday deserves another, right? Free kids games and prizes, too! [4075 Telegraph Rd., Ventura]
Bennett’s Best Pumpkin Patch :: With two locations, these are convenient places to grab a pumpkin before you head to your friend’s pumpkin carving party! [28900 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills + 24439 Calabasas Road, Calabasas]
